This slow cooker shredded beef is so tender and flavorful. With beer, brown gravy powder and onion soup powder – the flavor is off the charts!
Fill soft buns with shredded beef, top with cheese and pickles then bake until golden and melty. Perfect for an easy comfort food dinner or feeding a hungry crowd at a party.
Recipe Tips:
- Beef can be cooked on high for 5-6 hours instead.

CROCKPOT SHREDDED BEEF SLIDERS
These CROCKPOT SHREDDED BEEF SLIDERS are an easy no-fuss dinner. Cook beef roast all day in the slow cooker with beer, a brown gravy and onion packet and sliced onions.
Ingredients
- 2-3 lb chuck roast
- 1 (8 oz) beer
- 1 packet brown gravy mix
- 1 packet dry onion soup mix
- 1 white or yellow onion (sliced)
- 8 Provolone cheese slices
- Sliced pickles for topping
- 12 pack Hawaiian slider buns
- Sprinkle of parsley for the tops (optional)
Instructions
- In a 8 quart slow cooker add the chuck roast, beer, brown gravy packet, onion soup packet and onions and stir the sides around to get everything mixed together. Cook on low for 8 hours. Stirring the liquid every few hours.
- Once the beef is tender, take out and shred and place back in the slow cooker. Stir around so it gets coated in the juice.
- Preheat oven to 375ºF
- Slice the buns open and place the top part to the side. Place bottoms of buns on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place 4 pieces of cheese on the bottom half of the buns. Add the shredded meaton top of cheese. Place sliced pickles on top. Top with 2-4 slices of provolone cheese. Place the top half of the buns on top of the cheese. Cover with foil then bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melty.
- Sprinkle chopped parsley on top. (optional) serve and enjoy!
