Healthy Smoothie Recipe
I am NOT a morning person. For years I have tried to be. I would love to spring out of bed all bright and shiny. Not Happening.
But, I keep trying to become a morning person. I’ve tried showering first thing, morning yoga, waking up earlier, waking up later, thinking happy thoughts. So far the only thing that works is lots of coffee and about 2 hours undisturbed. Then I am ready to have a great morning! lol.
One thing that does help my morning grumps is a satisfying and nutritious breakfast. At least with this Orange Cream Breakfast Smoothie and a bowl of Great Grains, my body can start the day off happy!
Post Great Grains cereal is made with less processed ingredients. Whole grain flakes from actual wheat berries plus real fruit and nuts. Great Grains cereals have at least 30g of whole grains per serving. Great Grains Has Nutrition You Can See!
Orange Cream Breakfast Smoothie
The Juice of 2 Oranges
1 teaspoon Pure Vanilla Extract
1/2 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt
1/2 Cup Milk
Blend all ingredients together and enjoy!
Yields 2 small smoothies.

This smoothie is calling my name! So I guess what makes me great is my ability to hear inanimate objects speaking to me? Scratch that, I’ll just take that smoothie, please 😀
Nicole Harris says
Hahaha! Thanks for the laugh, Rebecca 🙂

I’m also NOT a morning person. A smoothie that I can take with me is usually how I roll. This one looks fantastic! I don’t usually sit down and have a bowl of cereal, but I have tried the great Grains before and thought it was really tasty!
Nicole Harris says
NOT Morning People Unite! Thanks Lauren!

I’m 45 and admit I love getting older. There’s something about getting older that makes you just become at ease with who you are. I’m so comfortable in my own skin. So why am I great, because I’m me. 100%, all the time. Don’t enter me since I’m Canadian but wanted to play along.
Nicole Harris says
So true, Kim. I used to worry so much about what other people thought about me. Now I could give a flip! Thanks for playing along 😀

ummmmm, that’s tricky! I guess my heart. It can be a blessing or a curse, but I’m choosing to see my tender heart as something that makes me great because I actually do care about others around me
