Funfetti Baked Donuts
Funfetti Baked Donuts are a fun and delicious treat! Homemade donuts topped with glaze and lots of SPRINKLES!
Ingredients
Donuts
- 1 Cup AP Flour
- 1½ teaspoons Baking Powder
- 1/4 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/4 Cup Ultrafine Sugar
- 1 Egg
- 1/4 Cup Vanilla Greek Yogurt
- 1/4 Cup Whole Milk
- 1½ teaspoons Pure Vanilla Extract
- 1/2 Cup Rainbow Sprinkles
Glaze
- 3/4 Cup Powdered Sugar
- 3 Tablespoons Heavy Cream
- Rainbow Sprinkles and Nonpareils
Instructions
Donuts
- Preheat oven to 325°
- Sift the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
- Using a hand mixer - combine the sugar, egg, Greek yogurt, milk and vanilla.
- Add the dry ingredients and mix until combined. (do not overmix)
- Gently fold in the sprinkles.
- Generously spray donut pan with non stick.
- Split the batter evenly between the six donut molds. (Fill about 3/4 full. There may be a little extra batter.)
- Bake at 325° for 12-15 minutes.
- Remove from oven and allow to cool in pan for 2-3 minutes.
- Transfer donuts to cooling rack.
Glaze
- In a medium bowl, mix the powdered sugar and heavy cream.
- Dip the donuts into the glaze then immediately top with rainbow sprinkles and nonpareils.
