Which Is Better, Hot Or Cold Lobster Rolls?
Most people think of the cold creamy mayo based version when they think of lobster rolls. But the warm butter slathered lobster rolls are far superior, in my humble opinion.
To make these lobster rolls we are tossing the freshly cooked chunks of lobster meat with melted butter (the poaching butter if that is how you cooked it), lemon, fresh chives and dill. Salt and pepper to taste and that is it.
I figure if I’m paying $50 a pound for something I am certainly not going to cover the flavor with a bunch of other ingredients. But that’s just my personal opinion and I will eventually add a mayo based lobster roll to the site for those that love that version.
