Vanilla Amaretto Soaked Figs

Ingredients

Fresh Figs - halved lengthwise
▢

Rodelle Vanilla Bean - split and opened
▢

Cup
Amaretto
▢

Cup
Water
▢

Instructions
Fill large mouth mason jar with figs. Top with vanilla bean.
In medium saucepan over medium heat; mix amaretto, water and sugar. Bring to a boil while occasionally whisking.
Gently boil for 5 minutes while whisking. Mixture will reduce and become slightly syrupy.
Remove from heat and let cool 5-10 minutes.
Pour liquid over figs. (The mason jar cannot be cold!)
Seal jar with lid and refrigerate overnight. (or at least 4 hours)
Eat within 4-5 days.
