Ingredients

white wine vinegar

water

granulated sugar

pepper

large chilled english cucumbers
thinly sliced
▢

medium red onion
thinly sliced
▢

tablespoons
freshly chopped dill
Instructions
In a medium dish or bowl, combine the vinegar, water, and sugar until the sugar has completely dissolved.
In a very large bowl, add the sliced cucumbers and the sliced onion. Add the salt and pepper.
Pour the vinegar mixture over the cucumbers.
Add the fresh dill. Mix everything together gently to coat the cucumbers. Let the mixture sit for 5 minutes before serving.
Serve chilled.
Notes
If you want to soften the onions and create a more mild flavor, soak the sliced onions in the vinegar for 20-30 minutes before preparing the salad.
