Ice Cream Milky Way Brownie Pie

Ingredients

Brownies

  • 1/2 Cup Unsweetened Cocoa
  • 2/3 Cup AP Flour
  • 1/4 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Salt
  • 1/2 Cup Melted Butter slightly cooled
  • 1 Cup Ultra Fine Sugar
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Paste or Extract
  • 2 Eggs

Ice Cream Pie

  • 28 oz Vanilla Ice Cream
  • 28 oz Chocolate Ice Cream
  • 2 Packages of Milky Way or Snickers Bites 7 oz
  • 1 Jar Caramel Topping

Instructions

Brownies

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Using a fork or whisk; mix the cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside.
  • In a separate bowl; combine the melted butter, sugar, vanilla and eggs.
  • Using a hand mixer; slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet. Mix until just smooth. (batter will be thick)
  • Spread evenly into an extra greased 9 inch springform pan.
  • Place springform on a cookie sheet and bake for 26-28 minutes or until a toothpick can be inserted and removed cleanly.
  • Allow brownies to cool then transfer to the refrigerator or freezer until cold.

Ice Cream Pie

  • Wipe the inside of the springform pan to remove any grease residue.
  • Top brownie layer with softened vanilla ice cream.
  • Return springform pan to freezer until ice cream is firm.
  • Chop your Milky Way Bites into delicious little chunks.
  • Spread a layer of softened chocolate ice cream on top of the vanilla layer.
  • Top with Milky Way chunks and return to freezer. Freeze overnight.
  • To release the springform, run a wash cloth under hot water and wipe along the outside of the springform pan. Repeat 2-3 times then release the springform and carefully remove the sides
  • Slice and drizzle with caramel topping.
