Honey Roasted Figs

Honey ricotta ice cream topped with honey roasted figs is an amazingly indulgent dessert . . . Who needs chocolate anyway!?!

Ingredients

  • 16 oz Black or Green Figs about 20 figs
  • 2 Tb Butter
  • 2-3 Tb Honey

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 350°
  • Remove the stem and bottom off of each fig.
  • Slice in half, lengthwise.
  • Smear a dab of butter onto each fig half and place into a buttered baking dish.
  • Drizzle honey over the figs.
  • Roast in oven for 20-25 minutes.
  • Serve hot or refrigerate and serve cold.
