Honey Roasted Figs

Ingredients

Black or Green Figs
about 20 figs

Butter

Honey
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°
Remove the stem and bottom off of each fig.
Slice in half, lengthwise.
Smear a dab of butter onto each fig half and place into a buttered baking dish.
Drizzle honey over the figs.
Roast in oven for 20-25 minutes.
Serve hot or refrigerate and serve cold.
Notes
Serve roasted figs over oatmeal, yogurt, cake or ice cream . . .
