Pepare all supplies before beginning.

Place soap mold on a baking sheet (this will make it easy to move if needed)

Divide dried lavender between the soap molds.

In a large glass measuring cup, melt half of the soap base in the microwave. This will take between 30-60 seconds.

Once base is stirred and melted, gently pour into soap molds (divide between the 6 molds). Spray with alcohol to prevent bubbles. Allow to cool and set.

Melt remaining soap base then immediately stir in colorant until it reaches desired color. Then add essential oil. 15-20 drops will give you a lightly scented soap.

Spray the top layer of soap again with alcohol. Carefully pour the second layer of soap base over the top of each soap. Spray with alcohol then allow to cool and set completely before removing from soap molds.
