This Easy Apple Curd Recipe created a cinnamon and apple flavored curd that is perfect for so many desserts! This unique curd is made with apple butter and cinnamon.

Easy Apple Curd

Ingredients

  • 1 Cup Sugar
  • ½ Cup Unsalted Butter - softened
  • 1 Cup Musselman’s Apple Butter
  • 7 Large Egg Yolks
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Ground Cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch

Instructions

  • Mix butter, sugar and cornstarch with hand mixer.
  • Add egg yolks, apple butter, salt and cinnamon. Mix.
  • Transfer mixture to a small saucepan over medium/low heat.
  • Heat (while whisking continuously). 18-19 minutes for a thin curd or 20-23 minutes for a thick spreadable curd. (curd will thicken when cooled)
  • Refrigerate overnight. Store in an airtight container.
