CROCKPOT SHREDDED BEEF SLIDERS

These CROCKPOT SHREDDED BEEF SLIDERS are an easy no-fuss dinner. Cook beef roast all day in the slow cooker with beer, a brown gravy and onion packet and sliced onions.

Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2-3 lb chuck roast
  • 1 8 oz beer
  • 1 packet brown gravy mix
  • 1 packet dry onion soup mix
  • 1 white or yellow onion sliced
  • 8 Provolone cheese slices
  • Sliced pickles for topping
  • 12 pack Hawaiian slider buns
  • Sprinkle of parsley for the tops optional

Instructions

  • In a 8 quart slow cooker add the chuck roast, beer, brown gravy packet, onion soup packet and onions and stir the sides around to get everything mixed together. Cook on low for 8 hours. Stirring the liquid every few hours.
  • Once the beef is tender, take out and shred and place back in the slow cooker. Stir around so it gets coated in the juice.
  • Preheat oven to 375ºF
  • Slice the buns open and place the top part to the side. Place bottoms of buns on baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Place 4 pieces of cheese on the bottom half of the buns. Add the shredded meaton top of cheese. Place sliced pickles on top. Top with 2-4 slices of provolone cheese. Place the top half of the buns on top of the cheese. Cover with foil then bake for 5 minutes or until cheese is melty.
  • Sprinkle chopped parsley on top. (optional) serve and enjoy!
