Equipment

Ingredients

  • 2 14 ounce Packages Little Smokies
  • 1 Cup Bbq Sauce
  • 1/3 Cup Brown Sugar

Instructions

  • Combine the little smokies, bbq sauce and brown sugar in a slow cooker. Cook for 2 hours on low, or until warmed through. If the sauce becomes too thick while cooking, add a small splash of water to prevent the sauce from scorching.
  • Serve garnished with fresh parsley or sliced green onion.
  • Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to three days.

Notes

OPTIONAL UPGRADES:
For a spicy appetizer, add 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes or 2 teaspoons hot sauce.
For honey BBQ little smokies, reduce the light brown sugar to ¼ cup and add ¼ cup honey.
For a meatier flavor, wrap the little smokies in thin cut bacon and secure them with a toothpick– then cook as directed.
