Gala Apples - cored
sliced to ½ inch thickness

Small Red Cabbage - sliced

Red Onion - thinly sliced

Olive Oil

Salt/Pepper
Sauce

Apple Butter or Apple Sauce

Apple Cider Vinegar

Prepared Horseradish

Instructions
Preheat oven to 375°
Generously drizzle 9x13 baking dish with olive oil.
Layer apples, cabbage and onions. Drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Arrange sausages on top. Coat sausages with olive oil.
Cover baking dish with tin-foil and bake for 30 minutes.
Stir apple cabbage mixture. Flip sausages, remove foil and bake 30 minutes.
Mix sauce ingredients.
Evenly coat apples, cabbage and sausage with sauce. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Bake for 15 minutes. (tip: for glossy sausages, brush with olive oil the last 5 minutes of baking)
Serve.
Notes
If using precooked sausage - start everything but the sausage baking then add the sausage half way through cook time.
