Baked Lemon Basil Salmon Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Lbs Salmon
  • 2 Tablespoons Avocado or Olive Oil
  • Pinch Sea Salt
  • 4 Tablespoons Unsalted Butter - melted
  • 1 Tablespoon Lemon Juice
  • Handful Fresh Basil - chopped
  • Salt/Pepper - to taste
  • 1 Lemon - sliced optional

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 375ºF
  • Place salmon on rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Coast salmon with oil and a pinch of salt.
  • Bake for 10 minutes.
  • While salmon is baking, mix melted butter, lemon juice, basil, salt and pepper.
  • After salmon has been baking for 10 minutes, spoon basil butter mixture over the salmon and top with sliced lemons.
  • Broil on high for 5-6 minutes or until salmon is cooked through.
