Bacon Wrapped Asparagus Recipe

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces Fresh Asparagus – ends trimmed medium thick stalks
  • 8 Slices of Bacon – cut in half lengthwise

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 425ºF
  • Cut bacon in half, lengthwise.
  • Wrap a bundle of 4-5 asparagus with each half strip of bacon then transfer to a greased, rimmed baking sheet.
  • Bake at 425ºF for 20-25 minutes or until asparagus and bacon are to desired doneness (will depend on thickness of asparagus)
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste.

Notes

To prevent the delicate asparagus tips from drying out, brush lightly with oil before baking.
