In fact, every Christmas Eve at my house is spent enjoying our favorite appetizers. And I’m sure these Apple Barbecue Slow Cooker Little Smokies will be making an appearance!
Not only is this appetizer super easy and made in your slow cooker. It’s unique flavor is thanks to my favorite secret ingredient, Musselman’s Apple Butter. I just love sneaking Musselman’s Apple Butter into my recipes because I always get such great feedback. I’m always told how great the dishes are but they just can’t quite figure out what that interesting flavor is.
We love little smokies sausages at my house. They are perfect for holiday entertaining because they take a minimal amount of effort. And you can sauce them up however you want! I would start with this slightly sweet sauce, though.
Musselman’s Apple Butter adds that sweetness as well as a unique and interesting flavor!
