We made these in honor of National Nutella Day (February 5th) and my kids LOVED them!! They were so easy to make and took no time at all!! The donuts came out light and fluffy and slipped right out of the pan.

I do will say that the recipe measurements are off. I used a standard donut pan and filled them 2/3-3/4 full and was able to get almost 12 donuts. This also means that there wasn't enough icing. I watched them pretty closely based on previous reviews and they really only need 12 minutes.

These are yummy. Just a few issues. The recipe easily makes more than 6. I got 10, over filled my pans a little so they could have made 12. You need to double the glaze recipe to cover that many donuts. They taste delicious though!

In reply to <a href="https://wonkywonderful.com/nutella-donuts/comment-page-1/#comment-6177">Cindy</a>.

Oh no! It sounds like the batter may have gotten a bit too dry or they may have cooked too long. Just be sure to not overfill the flour measurment and level it off. Because this is a small batch any extra flour could make the donuts dry and stale tasting. Also, every oven temp can vary, maybe try a little less baking time. :)

When I made these they came out awful! They did not have the consistency of a donut at all and by the time they cooled they felt/tasted stale. Any suggestions?

I would check the mini muffins at 10 minutes. But, the cook time will probably be closer to 15 minutes. Enjoy!
