Apple chips are dried not cooked, try reducing your power level to 10% and dry with a towel first keep your times short as you dry to ensure the sugars in the apple don’t burn. you can dry lots of things in the microwave in small amounts. But a food dehydrator will work best. you can even sprinkle cinnamon and powered jello to change out the taste., Oh the potato chips are great cooked in the microwave, thanks for posting the method.

Haha, parchment paper is musc cheaper and takes up less room in the kitchen. And, these microwave chips really do work. I was skeptical too!
