In reply to Shannon. I would imagine several days then bake before needed. Just make sure any liquids are not sitting in the sandwiches during that time. Maybe add the giardinera just before heating.

Have you ever assembled these ahead of time and froze them? I’m looking for a “freezer sandwhich” recipe & wondering if these would work? Thanks!
