In reply to Karin. Yes, it may be difficult to get all of the ground cardamom strained out. If you don't mind that it should be fine. I would start with just a pinch though because it will be much stronger than the pods.

In reply to mandy. Hi Mandy! I bought my cardamom pods at World Market. But, you could also try a natural foods store or anywhere that has a large spice section.
