Haha! I can see how some would not like prosciutto. I love it! I have cooked prosciutto before. It slightly changes the flavor and can crisp up if you want that. Mainly it just doesn’t look quite as pretty when it has been cooked. You may want to try it that way next time. Hopefully nobody spits it out 😉

I thought I’d try some new appetizers and made prosciutto with melon with a flavor drizzle over it. A few took one bite and spit it out!! I was mortified. I guess prosciutto is an acquired taste! I had never had it and took a small bite and I have to admit, it seemed like I was eating uncooked meat. Yikes. Can it not be cooked in the oven on this puffed pastry with the asparagus and cheese? – Karen
