Nuts are very high in fat, it’s basically from the almond flour.

Jules – the majority of the fat comes from the almond flour coating. The 1/2 cup of almond flour in each serving is 30 grams of fat. Almond fats are better for you than the fats in a Big Mac … but this may be better for you than fast food, the recipe is not exactly healthy. It’s still fried food with a lot of salt.

Where does the 39 grams of fat come from? If this is an air fryer, really, very minimum oil should be used. It’s just that 39 grams of fat is more than a Big Mac. Please let me know how this can be less fattening.

These were so good! Will totally make again. We have a nut allergy in our fam so I used sunflower seed flour instead of almond and they turned out great! Thanks 🙂
