In reply to Kim Tombs. If you decide to saute the garlic, do it on a low setting. You do not want to burn it. I haven't tried it in a crockpot so I can't say for sure. But I think it should work okay. I'm getting the feeling your oven broke. I like that you are making it work with the stovetop and crockpot! :D

I am sooooo making this for Super Bowl 2016!!! I have two questions though: one, I won’t actually be able to roast the garlic-sad I know 🙁 but would sautéed minced garlic work instead??? And second, since the recipe calls for everything to be mixed in at once, would making this in a crockpot be ideal??? Please let me know!!!!

40 cloves of garlic chicken is one of my favorite dinners. I never thought to put it in a dip form! YUM

I would buy green olive chips (and then proceed to eat the whole bag)! This chip is made for game day snacking during March madness. Love it!
