Best of 2012

My first official blog post was on May 30, 2012. I had no idea what I was doing or where this blog would take me. Not to toot my own horn but, I think I’ve come a long way since May. First of all, I started out as a craft blog. I figured that I would primarily post crafts, some crochet patterns and throw in a recipe every now and then. Well, turns out I am more into food than I ever would have thought. So all but one of the 2012 favorites are recipes. I chose the following posts because they are either my favorite or were the most popular.I want to say a Big Thanks to all of you that have supported me during my 2012 year of blogging. I really appreciate all of the kind words and encouragement. I hope you stick around during 2013! Be sure to look below for a sneak peek of some recipes for 2013.

Not only did I eat an embarrassing amount of this Artichoke and Roasted Garlic Dip, it was also an extremely popular recipe.

This Vanilla Ice Cream was the beginning of my Brain Freeze Month. Throughout the month of August I posted recipes for homemade frozen treats. The Vanilla Ice Cream post also includes instructions on the three methods to make ice cream at home.

My third post ever was for Natural Lemon Vinegar Cleaner and I am still getting visits and feedback from this post. I also still use this cleaner in my kitchen. (And yes, I was taking photos with my phone in the beginning … teehee!)

These FlufferNutter Truffles were part of a cooking challenge called Get Your Chef On. Peanut butter was the secret ingredient which was extra challenging for me because I’m not a big peanut butter fan. But, I do like these truffles and the challenge was a lot of fun!

This Blackberry FroYo is one of my absolute favorites. I love it because it is delicious, the color makes me smile and the reason I created this Purple Recipe makes me laugh!HAPPY NEW YEAR!
